Joe is a Principal in our Audit and Assurance Services Department, and also leads the Firm’s Employee Benefit Plan Services Team. He is responsible for numerous business and individual client accounts. Joe provides financial statement audit, review, and compilation services to businesses, as well as tax return preparation and compliance, and tax planning services to both businesses and individuals. He has significant experience in the construction and manufacturing industries, as well as numerous other types of businesses.
As a member of our Governmental Services Team, Joe provides audit and consulting services to Michigan cities, townships, and public school districts. He is also responsible for the firm’s audits of Employee Benefit Plans, and assists with the firm’s technical compliance over financial statement reporting.
Joe has been with KSS since 2002 and was named Principal effective January 1, 2008. He graduated from Western Michigan University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. Joe is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants.
