Dave is a Principal with the firm, and leads our Construction, Manufacturing, and Distribution Industry Teams, as well as serving on our Nonprofit Services Team. He is responsible for a variety of business and individual client accounts. Services Dave provides to businesses include audit, review, and compilation of financial statements, tax return preparation and compliance, tax planning, succession planning, and representing clients before the IRS. He also provides a wide array of services to individuals, including tax preparation and compliance, tax planning, strategizing, and representation before the IRS. Dave also assists many individuals with personal financial planning, and estate planning and compliance, including preparation of personal financial statements and retirement cash flow projections.
A significant amount of Dave’s time is spent leading the firm’s Construction, Manufacturing, and Distribution Industry Teams. His experience and expertise in these industries include financial reporting and analysis, cost segregation and costing systems, and inventory valuation and control. Dave also serves on our Nonprofit Team, providing services to numerous nonprofit organizations.
Dave joined KSS in 1988 upon graduation from Grand Valley State University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting. He has been with the firm ever since, and was promoted to Principal in 2003. Dave is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants.
